While getting yourself to go to the gym might not be that easy, this step will be. From now on, I want you to jot down five things you are grateful for every single day. You can also write down the best thing that happened to you in the past 24 hours. It's simple, effective, and takes about two minutes.
When I started, I had difficulty coming up with even these 5, but it gets really easy over time. You can list anything you want, with the only principle being - you have to be grateful for it. This thing is very simple and worth doing even when you are feeling better. And if you are skeptical because it seems like some mystical solution, don't worry, I had my doubts too.
